About Me
As a painter, I’m all about color. How it can feel like a punch or a whisper. How it feeds the soul.
Exploring color has taken my work in many directions, from the representational to the abstract. For me, every painting is a journey of feeling, found within color.
While I do use brushes, I often paint with a palette knife, wedge, trowel or my hands – whatever it takes to get the painting where it wants to go, what it wants to be and say.
Having earned my living as a writer, I respect the power of words. But as a painter, I absolutely love color. And I hope it shows.
